This design, as the name says- “hubris” represents, not quality of extreme or excessive pride as the moralistic voices sing that – but the voluntary act of questioning authority, defying the long-established nonsense and breaking the patterns. We are all taught to obey and follow the flock and it takes a lot of boldness to jump off the social hurricane that drives us away. Questioning the modern models we are seen as outsiders, slowly disattaching ourselves from the society, feeling unsupported. So, it’s safe to say that we are kind of dependent on today’s routine and values, even if we decide to live away from everything, isolated in the mountains, sooner or later someone from the government will knock on our door.
