If you guys love the Sabbatic Goat you’ll probably going to insult us right now. We don’t care, it felt so good to make fun of it!!
This personal version replaces the ”Dogma & Ritual” made before.
We read a lot about this creature, the “Baphomet” and right now it doesn’t make a lot of sense to us. But we wanted to do something fun with the goat.
It appears here in some kind of criticism on the way people use symbols, occultism or alchemy to promote themselves on social media.
How cool is to pose with a Baphomet poster on the background? Or maybe a transmutation circle on the ground? These symbols became fashion icons for certain people and the mean nothing in the context, their loosing its essence.
Society nowadays created a plastic world, full of false idols, people who just follow a trend and don’t think (and know) about it.
The “Sabbatic Bimbo” portrays this society, plastic. Where the cult of vanity is the new religion and we all pray for “likes” and “followers”.
We wanted to make the Goat in pompous young girl body with big boobs and bangs. It could be easily an Instagram photo of someone else, I mean, there are millions of photos exactly like that; the pose, the hairstyle, the outfit, etc.
The atmosphere of the design itself is very “Pop” too – the selfie, the (ugly) tats and even the flying dollars- they represent futility.
On her hands we see two snakes related to the duality of the internal conflicts : Insecurity VS Vanity. The eye at the other hand is normally used to personify the intuition, here is more ornamental, it was transformed into an object – That is what we are doing to ourselves, we are turning into objects, and the worst of all – we are getting all digital.
The wings on the back are spread but if you look carefully they are not part of the creature, they’re just a decorative item behind the triangle. It’s so easy to create false images of ourselves to look more interesting or prettier.
